CROSS:  (The cost of following Jesus.)

"If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me".

(Mark 8:34)

CROWN OF THORNS: (Victory through pain.)

"They stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on him, and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on His head".  (Matthew 27:28-29)

NAILS : (Driven through Jesus' hands and feet, crucifying him.)

"This man was handed over to you by God's set purpose and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put Him to death by nailing Him to the cross. But God raised Him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death..."  (Acts 2:23-24)
